About Chuck Staton

The Vision Behind Staton’s Landscaping

Charles (Chuck) Staton Jr. is the founder and owner of the award winning design-build firm. With over 40 years of experience, Chuck leads by example—continually expanding his knowledge in areas like turf science, masonry, stormwater management, and sustainable landscaping practices. His commitment to professional growth ensures that every project we take on is rooted in both expertise and environmental responsibility.

Experience

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources specializing in Plant and Soil Sciences.
He served as the President of the Rhode Island Nursery and Landscape Association.
He is a certified horticulturalist.
He is a licensed arborist, a Rhode Island Tree Steward, as well as being a member of the Rhode Island Tree Council and the Warren Tree Commission.
He is also a member of the Children’s Gardening Network.
